In our Youth Development Program, we build each lesson to accommodate a group of 2 riders. This builds teamwork, friendships and helps students learn off of each other as well as the instructor.
In some cases, we do recommend a One-on-One session before the student is placed in a group of 2. This will be determined by your Student Application Form, and we will schedule accordingly.
We work with a large variety of students and enjoy building a strong relationship of trust and respect for the students, parents and instructor.
Our program is a certified Equine Assisted Learning Program, and we use the horses to achieve the individual goals that we are setting for our students.
The goal that the student is working to achieve - confidence around the horse, riding in the arena, riding on the trails, riding in a group, all have underlying goals that the instructor is building towards - listening, being in the moment, respecting others, creating healthy personal boundaries, awareness of how your actions effect others/horses, leadership, work ethic, how to handle difficult situations, enjoying physical activities and much more!
To achieve these goals for both student and instructor, we tailor our lessons to match the needs of the student.
Below is a list of variants that we take into consideration when working with each individual student.
Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Shyness, Trouble focusing, ADHD, ADD, and isolation.
You will have the opportunity on your Student Application Form to make us aware of your child's specific needs.
We host groups of 2 individuals per session. We charge $50 per person per session.
Unfortunately, our space is limited, please message to see if we have any current openings.
